In today’s society wherein active sports is a huge part of our lives, young adults and adults alike are trying new diet and exercise to improve their body mass as well as their skills in their field of sports. And aside from the skills, some sports such as basketball, volleyball, football, long jump, triple jump requires the athlete to have a strong leg muscle and high vertical jump to be successful in the chosen field of sport. If you want to be like your favourite athlete, it is essential that you improve your vertical jump at home as a starting ground.
But you don’t have to keep on jumping just to achieve this; first of all you have to have the right diet. Eating protein rich foods helps build muscles. While doing your training, muscles can be damaged and by eating protein rich foods help rebuild torn and damaged muscles. The bad effect on not having enough protein in your system is losing muscle mass.
The next thing that you need to do is exercise. Exercising the muscles on your legs, hips and upper body will make your body stronger thus achieving high vertical jumps. But doing just any kind of exercise is not applicable. You have to focus your exercises on the legs such as deep knee bends, toe raise, squats dead lifts and stomach crunches. If you have noticed that your vertical jumps do not increase, probably you are not following the correct workout.

Playing any kind of sports don’t just need skills but it needs total concentration, patience, perseverance and a goal. You will never be called an athlete if you don’t put your mind and body to it. Many tried to become great in their chosen field of sport but only few have succeeded it.
